John: Hey guys, John here from etrailer.com, and I'd like to talk to you about the Husky Liners MOGO custom floor mats for our 2020 Audi Q7. This is a great and easy way to keep the floor clean. It's a great replacement for the OEM floor mats, very easy to clean and very easy to install. Let's take a look now.The MOGO mats have a rubberized thermoplastic construction, so they're going to be nice and durable, but there's still going to be soft to the touch. We also have some stainless steel accents. Over here we have the logo, then right here is a heel pad.
What that's going to do is it's going to provide a little more durability right here where your foot is going to be sitting all the time. We have these nice grooves that are designed to channel any debris, any water or anything, away from where our feet are going to be sitting. The mat goes up pretty far, so then we're not going to have to worry if our shoes are nasty, about resting our left foot up here. Or even putting our foot under the pedals when we're sitting still.We have the two buttons here that are going to fit on the OEM fixed points, so we know right where the mat is going to need to sit. If you notice, there's a few places where the mat sits up a little bit.
That's just because this is brand new, out of the box. This normally is going to sit down like this, so it's going to look a little more custom. If you do have this, I guess you could say problem, just set it out in the sun. Let it heat up a little bit and then it should sit back into that normal state.Here on the passenger side, we have the same basic design. It comes up here on the sides to help contain any debris.
We have the two fixed points here, the nice stainless steel logo. We don't have the plate though, over on this side, but that's just because this is the passenger side. So your foot isn't going to be permanently sitting here like it will on the driver's side.When our mats get dirty you can simply pop it off of the OEM fixed points, pull it out, shake it off. Spray it down with some soapy water, rinse it off maybe with a hose and then dry it off with a rag. Just to give you an idea of how easy it is to clean, I've got my boot I've been walking around the garage, just a little bit of dirt on it.
Spray it off here with some soapy water, I'll wipe it off with a rag. It looks just as good as when we pulled it out of the box.To begin our install, we'll first remove the OEM mat that came on the vehicle. There's two little buttons, but all we have to do is just pull the mat up and it lifts right out. Now we're ready to install our new mat. With the OEM mat removed, we can now put in our new mat. We just have to put the buttons and line them up in the vehicle. Slide the front end under our pedals, just pressed down on the buttons until you hear them pop. The liners are good heavy quality and they fit in the bottom of the floor pan well. The issue I have is that they do not fit the side walls of the floor pan well. The side are not stiff enough to stay up on the side walls and they fold in on themselves. The Liners I bought are for an Audi Q5
